Shane + Sarah's Backyard Micro-Wedding
Sarah & Shane had an absolutely wonderful backyard wedding with their closest friends & family on June 6, 2020. Although the original plan changed quite a bit, they made the best of it!
They held the ceremony at Sarah's parents' house in Janesville, Wisconsin and webcast the events for those who could not attend in person. The ceremony was officiated by Sarah's brother. After the ceremony, the newlyweds cut the cake, followed by speeches from their siblings and Sarah's father. The next event was Sarah & Shane's first dance as a married couple, and dances with their parents. Next, they had a surprise parade of neighbors and friends drive by to see the newly married couple, along with a festive sparkler exit. Following that was a lovely dinner and dessert. I can't wait to see them next year for their full wedding in the spring at the Monona Terrace.
