Matt + Sam's Engagement Session
To start out Sam + Matt's engagement session, we met up downtown at the capitol building. It was nice to finally get to meet these two in person! It was a cool and cloudy day, making for beautiful overcast light. Sam and Matt were all smiles - making my job super easy! For the second part of their session, we headed over to the Lakeshore Nature Preserve for a hike out to Picnic Point. These two were willing to venture out onto the ice with me (which I may have totally ended up slipping - but no worries, everything was ok!). I'm so glad we did, because the miles and miles of ice made for an amazing and minimal backdrop! After we made it out to the point, we headed back pretty quickly because we were all starting to get a bit cold. I am so happy with how their session turned out, and I can't wait to see them for their wedding day next October!
