Cody + Maria's Wedding Day

Maria & Cody's wedding day was absolutely perfect! I started out the morning meeting up with Maria and her bridesmaids at the salon, where the ladies were already getting ready. After they finished up with hair and make up, we all headed over to the Dells to finish getting ready. I arrived to Trappers Turn and started working on details with the second photographer, Erik. Next it was time to get Cody dressed, with the help of his groomsmen. The ladies were doing some final touch ups, and then it was time to get Maria's gorgeous gown on. We had time for a few more detail photos and portraits before lining up for the ceremony.

Cody's reaction to seeing his beautiful bride being walked down the aisle by her mother was genuinely so touching! I think everyone was in tears! We all teared up again and laughed at their custom vows to each other. They were soooo cute! After that, they exchanged rings and a kiss.

We headed over to the shade for family portraits, followed by the wedding party formals. The sun was already starting to go down as we made our way across the golf course for the bride and groom portraits. We had the absolute best fall day - clear blue sky, warm, and the leaves were finally beginning to show some color!

After we finished up portraits, we headed inside to mingle and sign the marriage license. The delicious dinner was accompanied by some wonderful speeches, followed by dessert. We played the "photo impossible" game, which is always such a fun way to get photos with all the guests. Then it was time for the couple to share their first dance, and after we partied the night away! It was such a happy day! Huge shout out to Erik Weiss, who second shot this wedding with me.
