Sam + Logan's Wedding Day

This was such a perfect wedding day. Sam and her bridesmaids had already gotten started with hair + make up when I arrived to the salon. Meanwhile, Jessica, the second photographer met Logan at the hotel. While Logan got dressed and ready, Sam finished up at the salon, and then we headed back to Sam's parent's house to get dressed. I took a moment to work with her details, including her bouquet which she arranged herself. Sam got dressed in private with just her mom, which made for a fun moment when Sam came down the stairs to reveal to her bridesmaids. As a fellow Schitt's Creek fan, I knew exactly the vibe when they said they wanted to take a serious family photo.

We all headed over to the church for the ceremony. It was so lovely seeing Sam come down the aisle with her father and Logan's reaction. The couple chose to light a unity candle at their ceremony, which was a unique way to show two families coming together. After the ceremony, Sam + Logan greeted their guests, and then we got started on family photos.

Next we headed to a hotel nearby for the wedding party and couple portraits. Since we had a bit of a gap between the ceremony and the reception, we had time to stop at another location, and I'm so glad we did! The couple's dog met us there so he could get a few beautiful portraits with his parents. Then we were off to the reception venue, The Berkshire. Of course, we had to take a few iconic photos in the alleyway before going in for cocktail hour. While Jessica photographed cocktail hour, I zipped around the downstairs area and captured detail photos of all the tables and decor. Sam + Logan used potted plants as their centerpieces, which I absolutely loved!

The wedding party kicked off the dinner with a grand entrance, and then we heard a few lovely speeches from parents and wedding party members. The couple shared their first dance shortly after. I love it when a couple is down to take more photos, so we snuck outside quickly for some night time shots. The theatre across the street changed their marquee to display "Congratulations Samantha + Logan" so we absolutely had to get a shot in front of it. Then we headed back inside to dance the night away!

I am so glad I was a part of this gorgeous day. It was so much fun! Shout out to the very talented Jessica Frigge for second shooting this day with me.
