A charming & bright wedding day.

Allison + Nathan are some of the sweetest people you will ever meet. I knew going into their wedding day that it was going to be such a good one, and it was! We started off the morning at the hotel, where I quickly got started with all of Allison's gorgeous details. She had set everything aside for me, which was so thoughtful! Next, I stopped by Nathan's room for him to get dressed. Allison got dressed privately with the help of her mom, and then revealed her look to her dad. It made for a special moment! She gifted each of her parents a custom handkerchief with a childhood photo on each of them. After a reveal to the bridesmaids, we were off to the first look spot. It was a fast paced and happy morning.

I got Nathan set up on a little path near a pond near the the church. Allison arrived, and the two shared a private moment taking in all of the anticipation and emotions that come right before the big moment of marriage. We took a little walk on the boardwalk surrounding the pond. Then it was time to go!

The ceremony was absolutely gorgeous. Their nephew was the ring-bearer, and he did such a great job! Nathan + Allison shared their vows to each other and exchanged rings. After, we took family portraits in the church, and then the wedding party met up with us at the Mackenzie Center for their photos. The second photographer, Jessica, headed right to the reception venue to capture all of the stunning details Allison + Nathan put together.

At the reception, they had a giant crossword puzzle set up for their guests to solve. It was so fun getting to learn so much about them with that! We even managed to solve one of the Taylor Swift related answers :) One thing I absolutely love about May is how late the sunsets. It's great for several reasons: guests can hang out outside all evening, and we can take golden hour photos after all the formal events are over. After dinner & dances, we popped out to utilize the gorgeous backdrop available at Whispering Pines. They even have a vintage car onsite now, which makes for some really fun photos. Of course, Allison + Nathan also had to ring the bell onsite! We headed back inside and their siblings hosted a super fun version of the shoe-game. The wedding party passed out two-sided signs to each guest with Allison + Nathan's faces so they could all play along. It was incredible!

The last thing to do was a sparkler tunnel! It was chaotic and fun, but best of all it made for some really amazing photos. Then everyone headed back to the dancefloor, which was incredible because they chose to have a live band. Tim Stop & his band were absolutely fantastic.

Allison + Nathan's wedding day was so memorable and fun! I am so happy they chose me to capture it. Shout out to my second photographer, who I couldn't have done it all without, Jessica Frigge. Congratulations A+N!
